Welcome to the website of Mr Serious.

I started Serious Design in 2002. Back then, for me it was all about being serious about the less serious things in life. This meant making murals, taking pictures and my graphic design.
Although this never stopped, gradually product design became my main activity, working mostly in accessories and bag design.
What I enjoy most is developing complete collections: from concept through to final item. This means I can do the product design, as well as the graphics and when required, guide the production.

Screenprint workshop

We organize screen-print(zeefdruk) workshops in a few ways.
It is possible to do a 4 hour introduction workshop to experience how it is to prepare and make screen prints.
There is also the possibility to make your personal design and screen print this on a poster, T-shirt or sticker. This a bigger workshop because of the design phase.
The groups we do screen-print workshops with are mostly small school classes and company team-building days.

The City of Rotterdam commissioned me to paint a graffiti in the new train station “station Blijdorp”. The station is the last project of architect Maarten Struijs because of his pention. This is why the graffiti was a present for him. The 010 Crews is a graffiti painted bij me but ment to be a greeting from all the graffiti crews of Rotterdam to the people who enter the city though the new station. The station was opened the 17th of augustus 2010. Size 6X2.20m
